9.126 IACHAR — Code in ASCII collating sequence

Description:

IACHAR(C) returns the code for the ASCII character in the first character position of C.

RESULT = IACHAR(C [, KIND])

Arguments:

C	Shall be a scalar CHARACTER, with INTENT(IN)
