Build a Swarm cluster for production
This page teaches you to deploy a high-availability Docker Swarm cluster. Although the example installation uses the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, you can deploy an equivalent Docker Swarm cluster on many other platforms. In this example, you do the following:
- Verify you have prerequisites necessary to complete the example.
- Establish basic network security by creating a security group that restricts inbound traffic by port number, type, and origin.
- Create your hosts on your network by launching and configuring Elastic Cloud (EC2) instances.
- Install Docker Engine on each instance
